Scatter Kindness

Ever had a friend who awakens with an extremely cheerful spirit? One who is ready to attack a new day with enthusiasm? Yeah, I am so not that girl! To say that I am not a morning person might just be the understatement of the year. Copious amounts of caffeine are required before I am ready to face the day. This Monday was especially tough since this past weekend was a banner one here in Florida. I got to feel the sun on my skin, an amazing breeze, beautiful sunshine and a gorgeous blue sky. I was in my element! When my alarm went off this morning, my outdoors loving self was especially blah about getting up and at 'em to head into my office.

All of that turned around with a simple act of kindness! A neighbor waved to me as I was walking out to my car. I waved back and told her to "have a nice day".  I sensed that she was walking over me but I was running late and just smiled. Since she is hosting a show for me next month and has been sharing the Spring Catalog with her friends, I paused a moment when she asked if she could see my necklace. I'm glad I stopped. She was pleasantly surprised by the look of the necklace and complimented me on how nice it looked with the sweater I had on. And just like that, my blah mood evaporated. With a pep in my step I began my day. It is the little things in life that count and a kind word was exactly what I needed this morning. Thank You, Ronnie, for turning my frown upside down!

Here is the Chiffon necklace and earrings! It is a perfect addition to your spring wardrobe!

  3. Aw, yes it is. It truly is life's little moments that have to be relished, or the world can be an ugly place. Every person counts, and every compliment and smile should be savored.

Nice to see you in the blogging world, Christie! :D
