Today wraps up what's known to the Fashion Industry as Fashion Week in NYC!
Fashion Week is an event that lasts one week in which designers and brands display their latest collections through runway shows. Buyers from all over the world take a look at what the latest trends will be for different seasons.
The most prominent fashion weeks are held in the four fashion capitals of the world...NYC, London, Milan and Paris.
They are held twice a year in these cities several months in advance to allow buyers a chance to preview for the next season which are Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter.
This year's top designers have created everything from outerwear including bombers, parkas and overcoats with fabrics ranging from leather to quilted details on coats and dresses.
Flowing chiffon tops, fur trimmed jackets and wrap dresses also are an upcoming fall trend. The main accessories are metallic high heels and sleek clutches.
Along with these trends, the fall colors expected to dominate are vibrant such as plums and deep greens which are a nice change from the typical winter colors of blacks and grays.
As for myself, I am in love with the wrap dress look and will definitely be looking out for one to add to my 2013 Fall wardrobe. Which of these trends will most likely be in your closet?
