Do you fear getting a new hairstyle or hair cut? Are you worried your hairstylist won't understand exactly what you're asking for even if you try to describe it? I used to, but now with technology at our fingertips, I suggest googling images of hairstyles by simply typing in more or less what type of hairstyle you think you may want. For instance, if you're looking to have a "bob" cut then type that in or in my case, I knew I wanted bangs so I typed in "bang" hairstyles. I picked out the one that most looked similar to what I currently have but with the bangs so it wasn't too far fetched or a lot of work and complication for my hairstylist. Lets face it...I'm sure we all have the best hairstylists but we have to be reasonable too in our requests. Most hairstylists will appreciate you bringing in a picture or two of an idea that you want and you can consult together on what the best look will be for you as far as the look, ease and maintenance of it.
So make sure before your next visit to the salon you have those pictures ready! Good Luck and feel free to share any of your salon tips!
